Hidden Creek CC

Bob Brofft has been the Head Coach of the Hidden Creek Hurricanes since 2021. He is also a Senior Coach with the Potomac Marlins. Bob is also the head coach of the Swimming & Diving program at St. Paul VI Catholic High School in Fairfax. A native of Northern Virginia, Bob swam competitively for twelve years, representing the Chase Club Sharks, Victor Swim Club, Robinson Secondary School, and the College of William & Mary. Upon graduating from W&M with a bachelor's degree in Economics, Bob came home and coached for the Marlins from 2006-2014. After taking a four-year break to pursue a career in teaching, Bob returned to the club in 2018. In addition to his current roles, Bob spent 14 seasons coaching a variety of summer league teams, and has served on coaching staffs at Falls Church High School, Centreville High School, and Marymount University. Bob was a PVS Zone Team coach in 2007, 2008, and 2009, and has also served as a coach/counselor for the swimming camp at the University of Notre Dame.
